Dr. Aaron M. Scott, MD

Dr. Scott stresses the
importance of introducing technology in order to minimize the trauma of operations, thus
explaining the minimally invasive component of his title.
With several offices throughout the North Phoenix
Valley metropolitan area, Dr. Scott provides surgical services to a large patient
population with recommendations as to which hospital is best suited to handle their

PROFESSIONAL MEMBERSHIPS:
Dr. Scott is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons, and
holds memberships with the American Medical Association, the Society of the Alimentary
Tract, Society of Laparoendoscopic Surgeons, and the Society of American Gastrointestinal
Endoscopic Surgeons.
PERSONAL:
Having pursued a career in medicine since the fourth grade and
founding the Medical Sciences Club in high school, it's no surprise to learn that Dr.
Scott scored in the upper 98th percentile nationwide on the American Board of Surgery
Exam. Dr. Scott took his under-graduate
and medical education in Michigan, and then his surgical training at the University of
Wisconsin. He did a one year research fellowship during residency, was the flight
surgeon for an emergency medical helicopter, and then came to Phoenix to build his career
in general, vascular, and minimally invasive surgery. Dr.
Scott is happily married and enjoys hiking and other outdoor activities. |
